Last night we made it to Westport after having a relaxing night at the Flemmings house in Ocean Shores. It felt good to finally see the boards come off of the trailer and get some action for once. When we got done playing in the waves we were trying to figure out where we were gonna crash for the night when a local guy named Samm commented on our trailer which led to him inviting us to stay in his backyard. Samm was a cool guy he took us around to various places in Westport and gave us some inside knowledge about some cool surfing spots. This morning we left Westport with plans of riding about 80 miles to Astoria! After about 3 hours of riding we decided to stop in Raymond for some lunch which is where we met our first other group of riders Sarah and Jacques who are on their way to Argentina where they plan to catch a plane South Africa and continue their travels. The open road is a interesting place to be you never know who you will run into or what each day will bring. But I have to say it is great to meet people that I never would have met otherwise.
We will do our best to keep you updated over the next couple weeks of our trip, we should be able to keep things updated more often now that we have made it out of the desolate parts of Northern Washington.
Later on,
Sean W
