Amanda Park

On day two we were heading as far as possible in order to reach Ocean Shores by the fourth.  We ended up only makings it about 40 miles leaving us somewhere in the Quinault Indian Reservation.  We pulled off the road into some woods and hung the hammocks up for a damp night.

The next morning we started our fourth of July by attempting to ride the rest of the way to OS.  About twenty miles into our day arouynd the Amanda Park area our trailer snapped while going up a hill.  We knew this day wouls come, but we were hoping not on day three.  We turned around and headed down the hill to ask for a welder and after a bit of searching ran into a man named Steven.  He took us under his wing and helped us fix our trailer, camp on his land, bought us beer, made us spaghetti and let us spend the fourth with himself and neighbors.  They put on one hell of a fireworks show, and they were really hyped on it.

Today is July fifth and we WILL make it Ocean Shores but we really dont know.  We will see how it goes.  It is a very nice day with the sun shining and warm temperatures.  Lets get it!!!
